Retrofit the pudding hatch, with the boink swatter

I so love metaphors, the more ridiculous the better.

So things around here have been pretty crazy. Sytil sucessfully defended her thesis on Monday and we had a great party that night. Much beer was drank, meat was cooked, and cigars were smoked with bourbon chasers. All in all a great day with a better night.

I've been working on my boat a bit, trying to get it done before I have to pack up my shop and move. I've also been attempting to finish the x-mas presents that I started back in December, right around the time I cut myself with my table saw. Coincidence? I only wish,but they seem to be going together nicely and I'm hoping to finish both the presents and my boat this week and I promise to post pictures of both upon completion.

On the moving front, things are looking good. We've reserved a trailer with a moving company that's going to save us about $1500, which is awesome! I'm looking forward to taking almost a month off here starting next week, so I'll be relatively incommunicado for awhile, but I'll try to vaguely stay in touch. Take care and I'll talk to you soon.
