the only one that gets this cartoon. I can't be that old, can I? I just love the juxtaposition of Hillary as the Orwellian Big Brother with Obama as the rebel voice of reason. too bad it seems like that's how it's going to play out. I will never vote for Hillary Clinton! Hear me now and hear me clearly. It's not because she's a woman, it's because she will say anything to get into power and is a completely amoral political opportunist. At least with Obama and Edwards I feel that they believe in what they are saying and will take steps to see those things happen. I have a feeling that the Democratic ticket will be Edwards for Prez with Obama as Vice. That's just how I see it, but if it reverses, that would be all right as well.

Now that I'm done ranting about politics, I should probably keep you up to date on everything else that is going on in my world. In a nutshell, not a whole damn lot of anything. I haven't been as diligent about working out as I have been, so I'm going to nip that in the butt. I'm never going to get there unless I pull myself kicking and screaming across the line. I'd really like to be in shape by the time I come home in July/August. Basically, I'd like to be like those Bowflex commercials where they say, "I'm 30 years old and I'm in the best shape of my life." Well, here's to dreaming and then making them come true.
