Yoga is hard!

So my beautiful wife just started a yoga class last week and suggested that I try it as it might help me with my flexibility and core strength. So Thursday I went to my first yoga session. The instructor was very nice and supportive and I had a pretty good time once I stopped being self-conscious and just went with it. It turns out I'm not horribly unflexible, but at the same time, I've got a long way to go until I'll really get to where I should be. I really need to work on my core strength alot and am looking at taking a Pilates class in addition to my yoga. I know what your thinking, how very metrosexual of me. While that may be true, I'll pretty much do whatever I can to put myself back together and getting back into shape. As I've said before, it's a whole lot easier to get out of shape than it is to get back into it.

So the bunkbed is finished and the girls loved it. Luckily, so did the parents and it was a nice feeling to have the project accomplished. My wife was a huge help and did all of the painting and a good bit of the sanding, so a lot of the credit should go to her. The bunkbed didn't quite turn out as beautiful as I had pictured it, but it looks great and I definitely learned a few things so that next time it will turn out even better.

Good job to both of you, I think it looks great! Practice makes perfect, so come build one for your god-son. Just kidding! Don't beat yourself up about your fitness level. I got a Pilotes tape and surprised myself with how weak I was too. Lots of love and kisses! Chlo-bo

Or in a few years you coukd build another set of beds for your neice! I thinkit looks great! Good for you on the yoga! It is really fun if, like you said, you aren't self-conscious. My problem wasn't flexibility, it was balance. Probably no suprise there! Talk to you later!

Love You!
